About the Project

The 2019 International Builders’ Show (IBS), the largest home building tradeshow in a U.S., showcased a variety of innovations and trends in the home building industry, drawing over 100,000 attendees.

LP Building Solutions had a prominent booth, showcasing interactive experiences and VR simulations, including a VR shark-diving experience.

From the floor to the ceiling, all elements were developed, formatted, sized, and produced custom for the show.

Production was coordinated with LP’s team to ensure all graphics properly fit the framework constructed on site.

Using a collection of signs, vinyls and custom structures, several individual displays were fabricated to support the LP Team’s marketing initiatives for the show.

This event marked the launch of LP SmartSide Smooth products and LP Elements Performance Fencing.

STRONG BARRIERS

The WeatherLogic system exhibit demonstrated how to install a tight building envelope, creating a resistant weather barrier, and elevating overall energy efficiency.

SMARTSIDE

For nearly 30 years, LP® SmartSide® Trim & Siding products has been one of the top-performing and most preferred siding brands on the market.This launch was the first iteration of the smooth version of LP’s iconic product line.

INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE

The 7D experience was designed to let anyone who participated explore LP’s portfolio of products in a creative and interactive way.

LEGACY PRODUCTS

In addition to the 7D experience, the booth included a VR shark cage that allowed attendees to dive underwater with live sharks and experience the sensation of being inside a shark cage surrounded by LP Legacy products.

WEATHER TESTED

Elements was a brand-new performance fencing product, the industry’s first engineered wood fencing solution, creating an entirely new category with distinctive texture and appearance.
